Before Alan Robinson painted houses, he painted pictures. His professional art career began in Denver and has kept growing in Nashville since 2007: large canvases full of color and texture, murals in a Dickson ice cream shop and a Belle Meade preschool, a retreat house, a convent, and a portrait of the priest who walked him into the Catholic Church, now a bishop, lifting the chalice at Mass.

Alan's art career began in Denver, Colorado — large-scale oil paintings with bold color and rich texture. His work caught the attention of galleries, churches, and private collectors across the West.

In 2007, Alan moved to Nashville on his own. It was here that he met his wife Beth, started his family, and built a house painting business rooted in the same principles as his fine art: meticulous preparation, deliberate color choices, and a refusal to cut corners.

Alan moved to Nashville alone in 2007, met his wife Beth here, and together they've raised six children. Their kids attend Overbrook Catholic School, and the family is deeply woven into the fabric of the Nashville community — through their parish, school events, youth sports, and neighborhood life.

Beth Robinson is the other half of Alan Robinson Painting. She works tirelessly behind the scenes, making sure Alan has everything he needs to keep transforming beautiful homes for clients across the area - and she's a familiar face out in the community, too. With 20 years of combined experience in radio and music promotion, Beth notices the details that help make clients feel genuinely cared for. Known for her energy, attention to detail, and warmth, she brings people together, has a knack for making 2 + 2 = 5, and is an integral part of the Alan Robinson Painting mission.

Sawyer Robinson

Alan's Son & Key Operations Leader

After a successful college career, Sawyer answered the call to work alongside his father and help elevate the standard of quality house painting in Nashville - and he's been following in his dad's footsteps ever since. Sawyer has quickly grown into his role in operations and sales, becoming a critical part of what allows Alan Robinson Painting to continue beautifying homes across the Nashville area.
