A Volunteer Day in the Overbrook Catholic School Science Lab

In June 2024, Overbrook Catholic School was in the middle of a summer remodel, and Alan, an Overbrook parent, spent a day as a volunteer refreshing and repainting the school’s science lab. The school shared the update with its families:

“REMODEL UPDATES: OCS parent, Alan Robinson, cheerfully volunteered to spend the day refreshing and painting the science lab. The plumbing and electrical is also being worked on, along with demolition of the bathrooms in the main hall. We’re excited to see the updates, as they happen, and are looking forward to the final results!!”

Overbrook Catholic School has offered an independent Catholic education in Nashville since 1936, from preschool through sixth grade, on the Dominican Campus off Harding Pike. It’s run by the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia.

Editor’s note: we’ll add photos of the finished science lab here soon.
