A new pressure-treated deck and screened porch on the back of a two-story Bellevue home, with a long stair down to the patio. The bare-wood frames show the new lumber before any finish went on.

Deck Staining and Sealing in Two Finishes on One Structure

The deck boards and stair treads took an opaque brown-gray stain. The railings, balusters, stair stringers and lattice skirting were painted white, and the screened porch posts and rails carry a brown stain over lighter boards. Two colors on one deck means twice the masking, and the lines show it.
